Rent the RORC
The Ruth Obenchain Recreation Center is available for private rentals including birthday parties, community events, tournaments, meetings, and private gatherings.
How It Works
- Inquiry form submitted. Share your date/time, event type, attendance, equipment needs, and contact info.
- Staff review. We check availability, estimate fees (base + add-ons), and confirm any insurance requirements.
- Rental confirmation + contract. We email a short agreement tailored to your event with total cost and policies.
- Payment collected. Full payment is due before the event unless otherwise arranged.
- Day-of access + log. Access details are provided and heater use is logged if applicable.

Rental Guidelines
- The facility must be left in the same or better condition than it was received.
- All trash must be removed or disposed of properly.
- Tables and chairs must be returned to their designated storage areas.
- Any damages may result in additional charges.
- Heating, if used, must be logged and paid for.
- RORC reserves the right to deny rental requests at its discretion.

Potential Insurance Requirements
Certain private events may require proof of general liability insurance.
When required, renters must provide a Certificate of Insurance showing:
- Minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate
- Bly Community Action Team Inc. listed as Additional Insured

Insurance may be obtained through the renter's personal or business insurance provider. Online special event providers such as EventHelper.com or similar services may also be used.
Proof of coverage must be submitted and approved prior to the event date.
RORC reserves the right to require insurance based on event type, attendance size, or activity.
